Reviewed listing: NYSE:INVX · Analysis dated Oct 22, 2026
The underlying information has changed since this analysis. This earlier assessment has not yet been updated for those changes. It refers to the analysis date and original reviewed price shown here.
How does the company make money?
Innovex sells tools and equipment for oil and gas drilling, including for subsea installations. Its products serve several stages, from drilling through production.
What supports the business?
Quarterly revenue rose 9 percent. At the end of June, Innovex had no bank debt and a large cash reserve. The subsequent TCO acquisition used 65 million USD of that cash and was also paid for with new shares.
What could improve?
New underwater products and the TCO acquisition could bring more business and better earnings. The products need to prove themselves with customers, and additional profits must justify the purchase price and integration effort.
How is the stock price assessed?
This assessment refers to the analysis and its quoted price shown here. It is not a live quote or a personal recommendation to buy.
29.45 USD looks rather expensive. My cautious ceiling of 26 USD corresponds to 1.30 USD of normalized annual earnings per share at 20 times earnings. The valuation therefore already assumes a recovery after recent pressures.
What is the main risk?
Demand depends on investment by the oil and gas industry. A major legal dispute and acquisitions can tie up cash. The sale of existing shares by a large shareholder does not bring the company itself any fresh cash.
What is the overall assessment?
Innovex has a broad oilfield services product offering and a solid cash position. But ongoing earnings improvement is smaller than the Q2 profit increase suggests; legal costs, acquisitions, and disposals distort the comparison. 29.45 USD offers little cushion in a cautious normalized-earnings calculation.
